Spring Fusion retreat 2025 June 6-9
A whole weekend around Fusion dance, for a group of about thirty dancers from different backgrounds and levels, to enrich each other, take the time to get to know each other, to exchange... with a focus on well-being and co-creative dance.
It is important to understand that although part of the organization is the work of a small group of passionate dancers, the idea is that it is a moment of meeting in collaborative mode and that each participant brings a part of themselves.
In terms of prices, this event does not seek to make a profit: the organizers are all volunteers, but we have taken care to be able to decently pay the various artists (classes, musicians), a cook preparing quality food and a welcoming venue.

The venue
A farmhouse renovated by our hosts Jean-Pierre and Anne, dancers, at the top of a hill with very few neighbors around.
A dance floor with a wood floor in the old barn, a good sound system.
Access by car (30 min from Toulouse). There is space to park (cars and vans). The exact address will be communicated to participants.
How to get there: the most practical will be by car, we encourage carpooling between participants. It is also possible to come by train to the closer city: l’Isle Jourdain. The end of the transport can be organized via the retreat's Whatsapp.
Accommodation
It is possible to accommodate 14 participants in the rooms, which are spacious, in dormitory mode. You will have to share double beds.
It is also possible to camp in the garden. For those who want more comfort, you can choose not to sleep on site.
There are also other lodgings in the surrounding area nearby (you will be need to have your own car in that case).
Meals
The meals on Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be prepared by a cook who is totally committed to her mission. She highlights organic and local products. Hédia from Ethik & Toque will delight us with vegan and gluten-free dishes.
The group from the first WE loved her preparations, Spring will bring us new flavors!
On Friday evening, plan your meal to share with the group.
Since everyone has their own habits for breakfast, they will be self-managed: tea, coffee, bread, jam, cereals... will be available. Plan to supplement for your specific needs.
For the meal logistics to be set up, you must register no later than May 25th. Access to the kitchen will be strictly reserved for the cook (no possibility to cook your own food in the venue).
You will all have to help during the weekend:
Each participant agrees to participate in a slot for setting up a meal, tidying up, cleaning, washing up, as well as sweeping the dance space. A file is made available to you to register.
Everyone will behave respectfully towards the place, preserving its integrity, its cleanliness, and will actively participate in keeping the common areas tidy and clean.
And if you would like to share your music, offer yourself as DJ when you register.

Friday
- 7:30pm+ - dinner in a sharing mode
- 9pm-10pm: start-up workshop with an opening circle (all participants are invited to meet for this important moment)
- 10pm-1am: Fusion/Micro-fusion evening (reserved to trainees)
- 1am-8:30am: calm and silence required in the premises and camping area
Saturday
- 8:30am-9:30am: Yoga (yes before breakfast, it is important to have an empty stomach to practice Yoga)
- 9:30am-10:30am: breakfast (self-managed by participants)
- 10:30am-12:30pm: workshop 1
- 12:30pm-2pm: lunch break
- 2pm - 7:30pm: various workshops with a 30-minute break between each one
- 2pm - 3:30pm: workshop 2
- 4pm - 5:30 p.m.: self organised workshop
- 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: workshop 3
- 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.: dinner and free time
- 10:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.: Fusion evening with musician: Joris will perform original pieces, adapted to Fusion - open to outsiders
- 2:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: calm and silence required in the premises and camping area
Sunday
- 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: breakfast
- 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: workshop 4

- 10:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m.: evening - with the duo Traffic Love - open to outsiders outdoors
- 3am-9:30am: calm and silence required in the premises and camping area
Monday
- 9:30am-10:30am: breakfast
- 10:30am-12:30pm: workshop 7
- 12:30pm-2pm: lunch break
- 2pm - 3:30pm: workshop 8
- 4pm-7pm: stretching, chill, music....but also tidying up
- 7pm: hugs and departure!
Self organised workshops:
The schedule includes time for “self organises workshops” for which participants are invited to make suggestions. It could be another dance workshop or to discover something else, or simply go for a walk in the surroundings to enjoy nature as we will be in the countryside.
Depending on the suggestions, a vote could be set up before the Weekend for logistical reasons, otherwise the decision will be made at the time.
Practical aspects:
To bring with you:
- Sheets and duvets or sleeping bags (also necessary for dormitories)
- Towel,
- Toiletries,
- A different pair of shoes for outdoors, your dancing shoes,
- Flashlight or headlamp for campers,
- Water bottle and EcoCup,
- Your breakfast,
- Your Friday evening meal (in shared mode)
You can also bring:
- Mosquito repellent
- Sunglasses, sunscreen
- a blanket
On site:
Bedding is provided for residents in hard accommodation but not sheets or towels.
There will be some Ecocups available but feel free to bring your own

Prices (including hosting, 5 meals, 15h of classes, parties, 2 with live music):

- Camping pass: €260

Payment
Deposit of €70 upon registration via the helloasso link which will be sent to you in the days following your registration via the registration form (or in cash directly to Sandrine)
Balance via Helloasso before the start of the retreat or in cash on site (please bring the exact amount with you as much as possible)
It is important to register before May 25th to order the right number of meals. After this date, you will have to manage your meals (but you will not have access to the kitchen).
A Whatsapp link will be sent to you once your registration is confirmed.
Life on site:
- Respect for rest time: calm and silence are required in the premises and camping area between the end of the evenings and 30 minutes before the start of activities.
- Noise level: If you put on music or want to chat, take care of the people around you who might be looking for a moment of calm and serenity.
- Drinks: you can bring drinks for the WE. However, we want to avoid strongly alcoholic drinks, the aim of the festival being to be conscious and connected in moments of conviviality.
- Waste: Everyone is responsible for their own waste. We take care of the environment and our space. Take care to clean up and tidy up after yourself!
